What was announced
Behavioral Health Business reported on January 13, 2026 that Behavioral Framework, based in Rockville, Maryland, acquired Autism Education and Therapy Center, known as Autism ETC, based in Nashville. Autism ETC operates five clinics across Tennessee and Arizona. Before the deal, Behavioral Framework operated in Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C., so the report says the acquisition extends it into the Southeast and Southwest. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Who is behind it, and what they said
The report says Behavioral Framework is backed by private equity firm Renovus Capital Partners, which invested two years before the deal. Behavioral Framework CEO Kyle West cited shared values and a long term commitment to quality care and said the goal is to expand access to care while preserving Autism ETC's culture and clinical approach. The article says Autism ETC's leadership team and clinical staff will remain in place.
Why it matters to an owner preparing to sell
Analysis: An acquirer entering new states takes on each state's licensing and ownership rules at once, so it will ask a seller to show how its clinics comply where they operate. Arizona, where Autism ETC has clinics, moves behavior analyst licensing to its existing committee from January 1, 2027, which is the kind of change a buyer's diligence tracks. Our Arizona dossier covers it.
