Tell me who is across the table

An auditor, a payer, or a buyer. One of them is the reason you are reading this. Thirty free minutes on a call and you will know whether what you are looking at is a real structural problem, and what it would take to fix it.

What happens on the call

01

You describe the situation

The states you operate in, how the entity is structured, and what prompted the call. An audit letter, a payer question, a buyer asking for the org chart, a new state, or a structure you inherited and never examined.

02

You get the shape of the exposure

What is exposed, which counterparty is likely to find it, and roughly what remediation involves. Not a proposal. The shape of the work, so you can decide whether you want it done.

03

Then you decide

A fixed scope advisory engagement, an ongoing fractional role, the compliance platform, or nothing. There is no follow up sequence.

Who you would be talking to

I am Tzvi Weiser. The call is with me, not an intake team.

I passed the New York bar and was admitted to practice, but I chose the operator's side: I never practiced, and I let the membership lapse. I hold an MBA alongside the law degree. I am not a practicing attorney, and nothing here is legal advice. My work is the layer before the lawyers: reading the statutes, mapping your structure against them, and coordinating counsel when a question genuinely needs one, so the legal engagement is narrow and cheap instead of open ended.

The work is public and you can check it before we ever speak. Every state analysis in the Knowledge Base and every dossier in The Wire is sourced to primary law. I host the ABA Compliance and Legal Series, on camera conversations with healthcare attorneys from firms including Goodwin, Garfunkel Wild, and Bochner. Watch the series.

I also build the software. The compliance platform is written by the same hands that do the research, which is exactly why it exists: it is the compliance officer's work, productized. When you buy it, the person who understands the rule is the person who wrote the code that checks it.

I serve as the in house compliance officer for ABA operators. The thirty minutes works the same way: you describe the structure you actually have, and I tell you the shape of the exposure.

Why there is a call and not a price list

I am building software, and I take deliberately few engagements. The ones I take are on short, reviewable terms, because the work has to be scoped against your states and your structure before anyone can honestly quote it. A number on a page would be a guess, and a guess is worth nothing to you.

The call is where that scoping starts. Bring the structure you actually have, not the one on paper.

A specific question deserves a specific answer.

Thirty minutes. No charge.

Bring the org chart if you have one. Bring the letter if you got one.

ABAWiser is a compliance research and advisory practice. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this page or discussed on a call creates an attorney client relationship. Compliance is an operational function, and part of that function is working alongside your counsel, not in place of them.
